Likwid Privacy Notice
At Likwid, we believe privacy is paramount. Our blockchain-powered loyalty solution is designed to put users in control of their data and engagement. This notice explains our privacy practices so you can understand how we protect your information.
1. Data We Collect
1.1 Consumer Users
- Likwid does not collect or store any personal information about our consumer users. We do not require names, email addresses, physical addresses, or other personally identifiable information.
- The only data associated with consumer accounts are blockchain wallet addresses, which are represented in the form of unique Likwid IDs. These IDs provide anonymity by default and record loyalty points, rewards, and engagement behavior across businesses in an aggregated, de-identified manner.
1.2 Business Users
- For business customers, we collect basic contact and company information solely for verification purposes. This information is not shared with any third parties and is used to ensure that only verified and legitimate businesses join our ecosystem.
- The business verification process helps protect business owners and their customers from fraudulent behavior and maintains the integrity of the Likwid platform.
2. How We Use Data
2.1 Consumer Users
- The aggregated, de-identified engagement data associated with consumer blockchain addresses allows us to provide overall analytics to businesses within the Likwid ecosystem. This enables businesses to better understand and cater to their customers' preferences and needs.
- Likwid does not use consumer data for any other purposes, including behavioral advertising or marketing.
2.2 Business Users
- Business customer data is used exclusively for verification and provisioning of Likwid services. It is not used for any other purposes or shared with third parties.
3. Data Retention
3.1 Consumer Users
- Consumer engagement data, in the form of loyalty points and rewards, exists indefinitely on the blockchain. However, users have the option to extract their account private keys at any point and transfer their accumulated engagement data to their preferred custodial wallet.
